Research |
| Each year, residents conduct research projects
that are submitted for publication, presented at various scientific
forums, or presented for research competition. In addition, the Flint Area Medical Education
(FAME) research symposium meets each year in Flint. At this forum,
research is presented from all of the regional residencies in both oral
and poster sessions. Since the program began, Genesys has enjoyed much
success both at the local and national level with resident research. Research is expanding every year at Genesys and will continue to be encouraged and supported. This dedication has allowed for the addition of a hospital Director of Research, as well as an Emergency Medicine Director of Clinical Research who will help individual residents with their study design and analysis.
